With profound sadness and heavy hearts, family, friends, and members of the New Holland community mourn the unexpected passing of Randal A. Stoltzfus, 19, who passed away as the result of an accident in East Earl Township on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.

Randal’s sudden passing has left a deep sense of sorrow among all who knew and loved him. At just 19 years old, he had already touched many lives with his kindness, joyful personality, and genuine care for others. His family and friends are now holding tightly to the memories of a young man whose presence brought happiness wherever he went.

Born in Honey Brook to Stevie Stoltzfus Jr. and Erma Beiler Stoltzfus, Randal was a beloved son, brother, grandson, and friend. He was deeply loved by his family, and the bond he shared with them was a reflection of his caring heart and the importance he placed on those closest to him.

Randal worked for King Family Roofing in Honey Brook, where he found pride and purpose in his work. He was someone who enjoyed being active and spending time outdoors. He had a passion for sports, especially golf and volleyball, and he found joy in the simple things that made life meaningful. One of his special interests was caring for lawns, taking pride in mowing grass and creating the perfect stripes that reflected his attention to detail and his appreciation for hard work.

Those who knew Randal remember the light he brought into every room. He had a unique ability to connect with people of all ages, making everyone feel welcome and valued. His genuine smile, friendly nature, and enthusiasm for life made him someone people were drawn to. Whether surrounded by family, friends, or members of the community, Randal had a way of making ordinary moments feel special.

Randal leaves behind his loving parents and six siblings: Jennifer R. Miller and husband Lavon of McConnelsville, Ohio; Andrea F. Fisher and husband Eric of Honey Brook; Michael D. Stoltzfus of New Holland; Charlene G. Stoltzfus and husband Matt of Parkesburg; Jessica D. Stoltzfus of New Holland; and Malisa R. Stoltzfus of New Holland. He is also survived by his grandparents, John and Elizabeth Smucker Beiler of Parkesburg, and Stevie and Annie Stoltzfus Stoltzfus of McVeytown.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Wendall L. Stoltzfus, whose memory remains an important part of the family’s story.

As loved ones gather to honor Randal’s life, they remember not only the tragedy of his passing but the joy, laughter, and kindness he shared during his time with them. Although his life was far too short, the impact he made will continue to live on through the many people whose lives were touched by him.

Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Petra Church, 565 Airport Road, New Holland, on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 2–4 PM and 6–8 PM. A funeral service celebrating Randal’s life will be held at Petra Church on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by interment at West Haven Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
